As stated before, his SPARQ rating was off the charts (which measures pure athleticism). To give you and example, his SPARQ was 81.9, while David Ausberry was in the high 60's and we all know how good he is. COme on Terry, you've seen how good our WR's can be, be a Buckeye.

Not to hijack this thread, but check the measurables, especially the 40 time, on this kid who is a DE no less:

Name: Davis, C
School: St Lucie West
Position: DE
Class: 2006
Height: 5-11.5
Weight: 203
40-yard: 4.31
Shuttle: 4.47
Vertical: 34.4
Bench (185 lbs): 23
SPARQ: 88.17

Link

EDIT:

Ok, I did a search on Rivals and found he's an OLB...his name is Chasman Davis. Too bad he doesn't list us...

and sparq times are usually typically very slow against "reported" times.

Tim Tebow's SPARQ blows those guys' away:

40-yard dash: 4.69 seconds
Bench reps: 38
Vertical leap: 32 inches
Shuttle time: 4.16 seconds
SPARQ: 96.92

Pretty sick numbers for anyone, especially for a QB.

The Browns' RB William Green had a SPARQ score of 110.19 (4.33 forty; 4.25 shuttle; 34 bench reps; 38.6 vertical).

Having a SPARQ rating as high as Tebow's is wonderful, but I think it is a little telling for a WR, or any other skill position. For a QB, athleticism is great but there is just so much more than that to be a great QB. If you can run routes and have good hands, having the athleticism that Jeffers does can set you apart, imho.

i still have no clue what a sparq rating means. that link doesn't explain it at all.
The SPARQ rating measures pure athleticism. I am not sure how they get that number, but it is some combination of vertical jump, bench reps, 40 times and shuttle runs. It doesn't have anything to do with skill at the position (whether it be QB, RB, WR, whatever), just how athletic you are. Hope that helps.
