South Carolina 38, Kentucky 23 (Final)

Wins over Arkansas and Louisville are looking a lot less impressive. And, there isn't anyone on the field tonight that looks like a Heisman candidate--that last mistake was very unfortunate.

What I don't understand is, it seems pretty obvious that Carolina has prepared for the pass and the run is working, so why have they not tried to control the ball on the ground?

With 11:01 left in the 4th, the home team sporting a 31-16 lead, this looks like it all over bar the shouting.
And, yes DaytonBuck, you can even admit you spoon fed her some chicken -neck.

What we will have learned about South Carolina after this is over? Very little. UK just shot themselves in the feet all night.

What we will have learned about UK? They were not ready to play. Certainly, their coaches did not give them the best adjustments and play calling that they could have. If we were to be most critical, they were probably much over-rated.

Trying to avoid comment about Andre Woodson's mom

i for one have been spoiled with JT, et. al., and their uncanny ability to make all the right adjustments at halftime. making the right (or even any) second half adjustments presupposes that the coaching staff has some kind clue what the opposing side was doing during the first half!

clearly UK is a one-trick pony...

IMO the Ken. D got shown up today. They just gave up a shitload of points , Way too many for a top ten team.
I don't think UK's D was ever considered their strong suit. The D allowed 24 points. Two of USC's TDs were defensive scores. Add up the turnovers and the fact UK's kicker can't drive the ball past the 10 on kickoffs, and SC only had to drive more than 60-some yards once.

One poor performance doesn't lose a Heisman, but all those turnovers certainly put Woodson on the outside looking in. What really bothers me though, and it's becoming an epidemic in CFB, is when the offense lines up between the 20s, then stands up and looks to the sidelines while the O-Coordinator changes the play. Screw that. Woodson mostly audibles in the red zone. Between the 20s, it's out of his hands.

I don't think any QB should win a Heisman when they're not even managing the offense for the bulk of the game.

It's Rich Brooks dude...last time he did something useful was to tell Arnie Herber to throw more to Don Hutson. Man looks like he's straight out of a wax museum now.

Hard to disagree with that.
