I would agree - except the truth is that CW has a bunch of highly rated recruits coming to ND, including a couple that we were chasing hard. And you can't put it all on the ND mystique because they haven't been looking at this kind of class in awhile.

I just don't understand why these kids - or if not them, their parents - can't see the inevitable implosion that is coming. CW has shown little talent for head coaching. He is on a path that could easily lead to a coaching change half way through these kids careers. Why roll those dice when there are so many other stable opportunities?

well, you just wonder what kind of kids weis appeals to. I mean, if recruits get a chance to visit with Weis and also with Tressel, and then they ND because of Weis ---- maybe that's a weird kind of young man.

The ND mystique is strong enough that ND recruits in SPITE of CW. I doubt that he adds any appeal to a young man.

Of course, being 1-9 doesn't help either.
