Police are trying to figure out who dumped 390 pounds of pot in <?XML:NAMESPACE PREFIX = ST1 /><ST1:PLACE w:st="on"><ST1:PLACENAME w:st="on">Secor</ST1:PLACENAME> <ST1:PLACENAME w:st="on">Metro</ST1:PLACENAME> <ST1:PLACETYPE w:st="on">Park</ST1:PLACETYPE></ST1:PLACE>. A maintenance worker discovered 23 bags filled with weed sitting right out in the open along an access road.

Officers say the stash has a street value of around 640-thousand dollars.

Anyone who may know anything is asked to contact the park office at 419-535-3050.

@ bargain rate 100 an oz that is like 1600 a pound. $640000 worth at that rate is 400 pounds. that averages out to 17.3 pounds per bag. that had to be one big ass pile of weed.

Using VGs math... and his calc coming out to 400 lbs... would lead addl credence to your estimate... since big stashes never come in "400 lbs" ... kilos come in 2.2 lbs increments.. thus MUCH more likely that it was 200 kilos or 440 lbs... thus by VGs math... two bags are missing... great guess Hubs !!!
