i will soon be receiving by mail a pair of tickets for all seven 2006 OSU football home games.

unfortunately i will be overseas most of the season and so i am looking to sell the whole lot now.
however if you are interested in just one specific game other than michigan or penn state, let me know as we might be able to work something out.

these are "public" tickets, i.e. no ID required to use them.

i expect the seats to be in 29C or 27C; the view is excellent, this website shows a picture of the view i had last year:
http://www.seatdata.com/html/ncaa_ohio_state/section_ncaa_ohio_state_27c.htm
(fyi: a pair of 10x binoculars that i got for $10 at sportsmart put me right on the field)

face price ==
== $60/ticket * 2 tickets/game * 7 games/season ==
== $840 pair tickets/season.

looking for the best acceptable offer, i prefer not to mail the tickets; i would like to exchange them in person at my bank in central columbus.

i would like to sell by august 28th; i plan to post messages on this thread to update the status of the tickets.

i can be reached via buckeyeplanet by sending a Private Message to buckeye.head

peace!

GO BUCKS!

This thread is being locked for the time being. I have some concerns about the offer due to the IP origin of the post. Obviously I can not prevent anyone from pursuring this offer (outside of deleting the post), but I would highly suggest you NOT send anything in the mail at this time. At the same time, I don't want to unduely hamper buckeye.head's efforts to sell the tickets, or mistakenly prevent our members from obtaining them. This could very well be legit ... time will tell.

Hopefully buckeye.head will contact one of the admins soon to clear up some questions. Thanks.

I have talked with buckeye.head and he has addressed my concerns. He was honest and forthcoming with information about questions I had yet to ask him (the questions that concerned me). Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. Look for a follow-up post from buckeye.head soon.

i have communicated with the administrator and he has unlocked the thread.
the reason for the suspicion was the unusual IP address from which i signed-in, but this is only because i am currently in europe.

in any case, i am not going to sell or exchange the tickets by mail.
the exchange will be done in person, either by me or my partner, at my bank in columbus.
this way the buyer can rest assured this is not a scam, and i will immediately make a deposit and won't have to worry about bunk checks or bills.

go bucks!

due to a large demand for individual games, i cannot right away reply to the private messages that everyone has sent.

i heard that they are sending out the tickets this week so i will post a message with the specifics (section, row number, seat) as soon as i receive them.

Please,

if you are interested in the entire season
:
just send me a "private message" with a number indicating your bid.
by next week i will let you know if your bid has been accepted.
this is "silent auction" style; i am not interested in publishing the latest high-bid, so please don't ask me to.
if your bid is the winner then we will arrange an in-person meeting at my bank in columbus (please do not count on any last-minute price-negotiation at the meeting; i might have my partner deliver the tickets and he will not be authorized to change the price).

if you are interested in an individual game:
i am trying to sell the whole season as a package, but if i do not obtain an acceptable bid, then i will sell them individually. in this case, penn state and michigan will not be for sale here.
if you are interested in particular games (other than psu or um), please just send me a "private message" specifying the game and your bid for the pair of tickets to that game.
if you have already done so, there is no need to do it again - i have kept track of these messages so far.
next week i will post a message on this thread indicating whether the season package has been sold; if it hasn't then i will address the individual-game bidders.

Please do not forget to include your bid in your private message!
Messages that do not contain a bid will be discarded and left unanswered.

I expect to receive the tickets this week and will post the exact seat locations at that time.
