REO and Styx were two of my favorites from the 80's time period...they both did some of their best work in the 70's and moved that into the 80's they also did some of their worst work during the 80's in my opinion...

Here is another band that did some great things in the 70's and on into the 80's

Not as good. I liked Bon Scott and the early albums, Highway to Hell was great. Brian Johnson was the perfect replacement. I also think that Back in Black was better produced, the sound just got so much better.

I saw them in concert with Brian ....probably the best Rock Show (notice I said show) that I have ever seen, although Brian's voice was absolutely horrid....
