I just left the ND - USC game thread which featured a lot of carping about ND not being in a league.
We should hope they don't join what's left of the Big East, where they would pile up conference championships and BCS bids, not to mention even more poll votes from the East Coast media.
Which brings me to my real point, the two smartest ADs in America had to be the guy who put Florida State in the ACC and the guy who put Miami in the Big East. Miami now going to the ACC will lessen the wisdom of the move. looks to me as if neither one of them wanted anything to do with the SEC, where they'd have to play sombody tough everyother week.
