The Squeezebox Duet is up and running. Sounding very good. This is quite the little wonder as the base and the handheld are both WiFi. The Duet's screen is bright and has lots of functionality. Almost too much. It's a page driven system that allows for a lot of customization. I'm pulling music off my laptop and the Internet. Internet radio is a world unto itself as you can listen to radio stations all over the world(just like grandpa's old shortwave radio, 'cept they sound much. much better!)

Now for the downside;
The manual your given is tiny and fairly worthless. I guess they assume you'll just visit the Logictech website and/or join the Squeezebox Forum. Which are both very helpful. Thank God! Because the whole process can be daunting or easy depending on your WiFi setup. I had signal strength issues which I solved by just moving my router closer to the Squeezebox base unit. The other issue I had(which took some real detective work) was intermittent dropouts. Seems Windows was updating in the background and hogging bandwidth.
Fortunately, the Logictech support people are supposedly very good in support. And are fixing the known bugs and updating constantly. (a rarity)
Summing up. This is an amazing high tech little piece that will expand your music listening(throughout your house). But, if you find managing your computer's health difficult, pass or you could become overwhelmed with the complexity.
