Slick Rick Says Let's Be Friends On Myspace

Romanowski thinks that Slick Rick should be put in a nonventilated room with Romanowski's old man after Romanowski's old man just consumed a healthy portion of sauerkraut and a jar of pickled herring...

BuckeyeMike thinks that would be cruel and unusual punishment. BuckeyeMike thinks this should be arranged immediately.

This woud be Cand U punishment only if applied for too long. IMO if Romanowski were in with them then he could stop it at the right time. This would insure that the punishment would only fit the crime.

NFBuck says MySpace is a prime example of how we are completely fucked as a society. NFBuck says he's building a bunker in his backyard because the end truly isn't far off. NFBuck will not let anybody with a MySpace page in his bunker. NFBuck will tell them to fuck off to their face, not on some silly web site.

After the VT tragedy, there was all this talk in the press about how people left messages for victims on their myspace or facebook or friendster pages, and I thought either "Man, what a bunch of losers" or "What the hell is happening to college students these days, don't they make real friends?"

Agreed....it cracks me up listening to people talk about it at work all the time. They'll be like hey joe, I left you a message on my space and you didn't answer, and then joe says yeah we had a wicked party to bad you couldn't come all the pics are up on my space, but dont worry ill send you a message when i get home.

Then I shove my head through the wall, as I wonder why the hell people dont just say what they need to face to face.

I have to agree with you both. MySpace is a prime example of how a anyone can win a popularity contest (even if they are quite unpopular in the real world). In a sense, it's kinda like the rep system here...

EDIT: And since I was repped for this post less than 1 minute after posting

I dont know if this is at all true, but I heard in a news story talking about ways to get messages to all college kids on a campus. They said that approx 93% of all college studnets have a cell phone now, if that number is correct, it is truely amazing how quickly the cell phone has become a everyday item.
Spoke with a dean of a largish college a few months ago... surveys and focus groups showed that their students are no longer checking emails on a regular basis. The university realized that if they aren't either texting the students or posting the info on myspace, the student's won't pay attention.

Gary didn't bring a covered dish to the Mod Suite.

...or for some people, its a perfect indicator. For instance, someone can be perceived as a dick on BP and really be a first rate asswipe in person.

I can definitely see it.

Let's all trust the coaches on this one....at the same time.
