This woud be Cand U punishment only if applied for too long. IMO if Romanowski were in with them then he could stop it at the right time. This would insure that the punishment would only fit the crime.BuckeyeMike80;819446; said:BuckeyeMike thinks that would be cruel and unusual punishment. BuckeyeMike thinks this should be arranged immediately.
tibor75;819240; said:After the VT tragedy, there was all this talk in the press about how people left messages for victims on their myspace or facebook or friendster pages, and I thought either "Man, what a bunch of losers" or "What the hell is happening to college students these days, don't they make real friends?"
buckeyefool;819250; said:Agreed....it cracks me up listening to people talk about it at work all the time. They'll be like hey joe, I left you a message on my space and you didn't answer, and then joe says yeah we had a wicked party to bad you couldn't come all the pics are up on my space, but dont worry ill send you a message when i get home.
Then I shove my head through the wall, as I wonder why the hell people dont just say what they need to face to face.
Spoke with a dean of a largish college a few months ago... surveys and focus groups showed that their students are no longer checking emails on a regular basis. The university realized that if they aren't either texting the students or posting the info on myspace, the student's won't pay attention.buckeyefool;819261; said:I dont know if this is at all true, but I heard in a news story talking about ways to get messages to all college kids on a campus. They said that approx 93% of all college studnets have a cell phone now, if that number is correct, it is truely amazing how quickly the cell phone has become a everyday item.
