Thought it was interesting that even though we don't have the largest recruiting class we still have done a good job of filling in the skill positions where the seniors left.

Players Leaving/2005 Recruits
QB- (None) / Schoenhoft
RB- Ross, Hall / Wells
FB- Joe / (None)
WR- Childress, Hollins / Amos, Hartline
OL- Kne / Boone, Cordle
DE- Fraser, Caldwell / Worthington, Williams
DL- (None) / Denlinger
LB- Matthews / Spitler, Laurinaitis
CB- Fox, Jacobs / O’Neal, Jenkins
Other Recruits- Lenix, Russell

If either Lenix or Rusell becomes a RB we will have replaced each skill position senior except Branden Joe at FB. There are obviously some talented recruits that would help the team, however since we have replaced the outgoing players there is no reason to reach and take a recruit because we need an extra body. I have a feeling this might have something to do with why the coaching staff is focusing on only a few players.
