Its really tough to be worse than Akili Smith "I'll Be Gone from Oregon" and Klingler "Houston We've Got a Problem" .. The Bengal Curse of the late 20th century ... zero effective scouting.

Now Lewis is on board can Bengal fans expect fewer of these goofball picks??

Coop is indeed a Bengal's scout ....

Yes that does make me have mixed feelings ...

Pro-Cooper -- Cooper always could recognize obviously outstanding talent, so I hope that he brings that to the Bengals scouting efforts -- let's face it anything would be an improvement of the pre-Lewis era.

Anti-Cooper -- Then I remember Cooper's record in big games - and - I'm so glad his responsibility is only on the scouting side..
