I would have even settled for one more victory over scUM lite...at least we would have had a NC in the 90's.

No conference championship game, and for about 1/3 of the period this measures it was Rose Bowl or bust for the Big 10 -- there were no other affiliated bowls for the conference. Notice Ohio State and Michigan are the lowest two (BSU notwithstanding) on the list.

Also for a long time Woody refused to play an extra game per season that the rest of the B10 played.

I forget the number but essentially if the rest of the B10 was playing a 9 game schedule we were only playing 8.

Actually if you look at every decade since OSU started playing football... EX

What you find is that in 7 of 12 of those time periods Ohio State had the better winning percentage than Michigan. From 1925-present Ohio State is #1 in winning percentage. At no time does OSU fall below 7th in winning precentage during any of the time frames listed. OSU's first season of football was 1889 they went 1-0
