National Championships
tOSU 4
scUM 1

Hesman Winners
tOSU 4
scUM 2

Head to head record
27-26-2 in favor of tOSU even with 13 years of Hot Tub John

-John F Coop was responsible for 7% of those wins, 38% of the losses and 50% of the ties.
-OSU coaches not named Cooper are/were 25-16-1 vs scUM in that span (.595%)
-if Cooper could have just gone 7-6 vs scUM that total would be 31-22-1 (.585%)

Just thought I'd share.

But if he would've gone 7-6, he'd probably still be tOSU's coach. Could you stand that?

I would have even settled for one more victory over scUM lite...at least we would have had a NC in the 90's.

On second thought, not so much...never mind.

One thing from that list is clear...since 1951, Michigan is no Boise State

Perhaps we in the BuckeyeNation should mark time from Woody's arrival. 1951 would be the year 1. This year is not 2006, AD, but rather 56, AW. Somebody who's living in Ohio please get this proposal to the General Assembly for consideration.

:oh:
Nice info, but we all know that the 50-60 years prior to to 1951 are more important, how else could scUM claim most wins in history??

Actually if you look at every decade since OSU started playing football... EX

2000-present
1990-present
1980-present
1970-present
1960-present
1950-present
1940-present
1930-present
1920-present
1910-present
1900-present
1890-present

What you find is that in 7 of 12 of those time periods Ohio State had the better winning percentage than Michigan. From 1925-present Ohio State is #1 in winning percentage. At no time does OSU fall below 7th in winning precentage during any of the time frames listed. OSU's first season of football was 1889 they went 1-0:io:
