I'm all for legalizing, regulating, and "sin taxing" everything. It's all just less that I will have to pay since I'm not going to use any drugs except for a drink every once and a while.

I've been making my own beer for almost 2 years. I have not had to buy any in the store since then. I have gotten damn good at it, to the point where I prefer my own beer over anything that I could buy in the store. :)

Beer at $20 a six because of taxes? There would be riots in the streets. The governor's mansion would burn...

However, if all booze went up in price, we would probably still drink on occasion, but limit it to special occasions where you need to be drunk.
Like weddings and family reunions.
