SimPLLLLLLLe Jim "6-13" Harbaugh (B1G Suspenders McKhakiPants, Cheater Cheater Booger Eater)

Rodriguez was really on the money here. He is saying there's an entitlement issue there. It's systemic. that's what folks on this board have been saying for 15 years - and they are right.
Really? For 15 years? Were they saying that 14 years ago when OSU and UM faced off as #1 and #2? (Lol. Knowing Buckeye fans, possibly so.) Did the Buckeyes have entitlement issues in the 90's when they couldn't beat Michigan?

It's coaching. And recruitment and development but it all comes down to coaching. Milton isn't going to develop as a QB under Harbaugh. Not because he's entitled, but because Harbaugh can't develop a QB. We have enough evidence now to arrive at that conclusion.

And the Boren Brothers off to Ohio State.
Great point. The Justin Boren transfer was huge and paved the way for his brothers to come as well.

The Boren brothers have a waste disposal company in Columbus now. Dealing in dumpsters and I guess doing some hauling. I'm not sure. Their radio commercials are great. Their slogan is, "Takin' out the trash!"

Yes folks have been talking about entitlement issues at Meat for a very long time. It’s systemic, and I’m ok with that.

Yeah, nobody was saying that in 2006.

It's not really worth arguing about but yes they were. It's been talked about for many years even when the program was still seen as "elite" (at least to some). The entitlement/lazy/soft stuff was a topic among themselves to explain their losses in the early Tressel years with zero doubt of a faulty memory. It was in fact one of their main irrational hype points about Rich Rod coming on board with his former MMA S&C coach Barwis. They convinced themselves that the old country club atmosphere meant their guys didn't even lift weights. Once they started lifting weights it was all over for the rest of college football yadda yadda yadda

I've known them to be arrogant, entitled, cocksuckers since the early 80s.
And before that. Just because they’re good once in a while doesn’t mean they haven’t thought they were morally, intellectually, and footballicly superior for decades, which has slowly allowed the elites in college football to pass them by.

They did play tough during the Schembechler years, but today Woody and Bo would be horrible coaches.

It's not enough to be tough. You have to be very fast and athletic.

Harbaugh doesn't seem to be interested in changing to the new way of coaching, or isn't able to.

He is still trying to be Bo. That doesn't fly.

Would they? I don't remember any interest from NFL teams the last time he was available and his resume hasn't exactly improved since then. Another problem is that nobody likes him. He's a curmudgeonly asshole who acts like he's smarter than everyone else but doesn't have the results to back it up.
There was no time for nfl teams to even get in the discussion. He went from the Bay into scUM's loving embrace in one fell swoop. The word around SF was that he was essentially told in early December he wasn't welcome back and entered right into negotiations with his alma mater.

The NFL is full of dolts. Harbaugh was very successful in SF until all of the friction caused the wheels to fall of in year four. Make no mistake, owners/gms will take one look at his resume from 2011-13 and jump to hire him.
