I knew they had for me, but I just figured I turned them off myself. Then realized I hadn't. So just wanted to make sure it wasn't just me. As long as they don't take away my avatar, then i'll be ok.

The server was squeaking a bit when the season traffic picked up, so we turned them off and performance was so much better we decided to leave them off through the season. I'll check with Clarity next time we're both around and see if it looks okay to bring them back for the off-season, or if the difference is worth keeping them off. But I'm thinking we probably keep them off and keep the faster page loads.

You can still see the sigs if you go to people's profiles.

Eh...I don't like anybody else's but mine. Why would I want to see other people's? The whole point was forcing them to see mine!

Here is a realistic idea though:

Don't allow pictures or .gifs in signatures. Just words...like an ACTUAL signature. That wouldn't slow things down at all really, would it?

Agreed...if anything give me text and maybe smilies (so I can use the OSU ones)
