Former Principal Officially Fired After Assault
After months of legal battles, a local school board made a decision concerning a former high school principal accused of failing to report a sexual assault.
Members of the Columbus Public School Board voted unanimously on Wednesday to officially fire former Mifflin High School Principal Regina Crenshaw, NBC 4's David Wayne reported.
The decision comes almost two years after the incident.
"She showed a disregard for her responsibility as an administrator, said Dr. Terry Boyd, CPS board president.
Boyd said there was no question that Crenshaw had to go.

Crenshaw's attorney said:"It's frustrating that she's done this outstanding -- has this outstanding result and is being terminated, and a teacher who impregnates a student, a Columbus Public Schools student, age 17, (is) not even verbally reprimanded," said Toki Clark, Crenshaw's attorney.
