I haven't seen season 1, but I know the synopsis. Throughout season 2 I kept thinking that the only character really interesting to me was Saul, same deal with the finale. His reaction at the scene seemed of the "I knew this was going to happen" variety.

I started having the same issue with Carmela Soprano about mid-way through Season 1....
