I'm pretty sure that most athletic scholarships (i.e. football scholarships) cover tuition and room & board. When I went to Ohio State (almost 40 years ago) as part of their scholarship (in addition to tuition, room, and board) they got their books, money for a Sunday meal (the commons only served 20 meals a week), and money for laundry expenses. Needless to say the meal and laundry money wasn't very much, but they did get a few bucks a month for it..........according to some of the football players that lived in Smith Hall.Hodge said:I'm pretty sure that most athletic scholarships (i.e. football scholarships) cover tuition and room & board.
