SG Taylor Mikesell (All-B1G)

I call complete BS

1. It'd take forever to do this
2. Fatigue would compound everything
3. I lose count when I'm trying to count to 10 on the bench press. Let a lone 1,000.

If you watch the video, the machine counts the number of shots and she was already over 130 at the time.

But you're probably right. It totally makes sense for her to just make this up for no reason, whatsoever. :roll1:

unclear whether WNBA has a developmental team or not, like NFL, or minor league farm system a la baseball. Haven't seen any sort of contract for her, whether she got any upfront money or not. Tough break for Taylor, she deserved better. Saw that Fever was in trouble numbers wise, and that they had a pretty potent roster. Fever also had two first round picks, as Taylor was first pick of second round.

Not sure why the Fever have an obsession with Lexie Hull (Stanford). It was widely regarded as a terrible pick/reach. And she hasn’t shown signs of being close to good.

1.7 PPG in 15 minutes, shooting 1-15 on the year (6.7% !!), 0-8 3p as a 2nd year player.

FORMER OHIO STATE GUARD TAYLOR MIKESELL LANDS NEW OPPORTUNITY TO PLAY IN WNBA WITH ATLANTA DREAM

Thank Jake. Been wondering, and know someone better versed in those sort of things would post something about Taylor. Here's hoping that she finds her niche, and sticks. Too talented, and a great person besides. Will watch the LA Sparks now. Will she be a 'pinch shooter'? But you're right, there's too few women's teams, what with that much talent getting pushed aside.

NEW BEGINNINGS. Former Ohio State women's basketball standout Taylor Mikesell will continue her professional career in Munich, Germany, this summer after she signed a one-year contract with Gernika Bizkaia.

The Indiana Fever selected Mikesell with a second-round pick (No. 12 overall) in the 2023 WNBA draft, but the team waived her that summer. Three weeks into the regular season, Mikesell signed with the Atlanta Dream and appeared in nine games. This past offseason, Mikesell earned a camp invite with the Los Angeles Sparks but did not make the final roster.
