Grown men seeking autographs from college kids creep me out.

I got Coach Tressel's autograph in '03, and while it was nice to meet him and chat a bit, I don't think I'd do it again. I guess it's an excuse to meet someone you may admire and 'rub elbows' so to speak, but the whole hoopla surrounding player autographs is a little creepy to me.

If that's your thing, more power to 'ya.

the thing that I don't understand about autographs is that 99% of them are litteraly just a scribble that the player spends a fraction of a second writing, clearly indicating that they don't give a shit, also meaning that unless you were there or they are nice enough to put a number on there for you, you would have no clue who even signed it anyways

That has not been my experience.
