Kent is a very tough #4. I'm glad to see OSU in a #2, but it will be tough beating Georgia. Minnesota is the 2008 Big 10 champs and finished 2nd this year.

Looking over Kent State's statistics, it looks like they can hit pretty well, but their pitching isn't that great. ASU's batting average is a little lower (.302 vs. .321), but the ERA gap is pretty big (2.85 for ASU vs. 5.41 for KS).

ASU will probably be throwing Mike Leake at 14-1 and Josh Spence 8-1 in the first two games and those guys have been pretty untouchable all year. I'm feeling good about making it through round 1.

Fuck! The Gators can't shake Miami. The Bethune-Cookman pitcher in round one is very good, and then we get the scUM ace in game 2. If we can make it out 2-0, we do have the home field, but Miami has a hold on us in baseball like we have the Mutts owned in football. Whatever it is, psychologically imparied or actual skill levels, they own our sorry asses lately.

Gotta man up and not worry about it. Go Gators!!

Can we get a refresher course on the NCAA baseball tourney structure please? (ie regional, super regional, WS are they best of 3 round robin etc) thanks in advance

that's pathetic. you can't blame the weather for recruiting, because the B10 shows really well in the softball CWS.
