Seattle Mariners (official thread)

I took a look at the Mariners roster. I must not understand the graphic because the oldest Mariner (Wade LeBlanc) would have been 11 in 1995 and decidedly not on the Mariners' 1995 roster, having made his MLB debut in 2006 with the Padres. The Mariners organization is also older than the suggested 1995 birth, having been an expansion team in 1977. Consequently, I have no idea what the person who made the graphic is trying to say other than the oddity that the Mariner's are, apparently, 1995-2019 since 1995.

Yeah, it's complete bunk. The record from 1995-2019 is right, but they've been around since 1977.

M's fans - what are my Braves getting with Kelenic?

Apparently, when he stays healthy, he's a good young player. With 4 years remaining of team control, he has time to grow and develop in Atlanta. Plus he won't be asked to bat 2-3-4...he can bat 7-8th and comfortably develop.

Maybe my outlook is too rosy

not a Braves fan but as you mentioned i think he can be very productive at the bottom of a deep lineup such as Atl's
