Scout.com Top 100 for 2007 (revised 8/10/06)

Another thing to think about is that Dallas has stuggled going up against good competition. I think it will just take time for him develop an offense game.

Right now he is more of a Ben Wallace or Dennis Rodman type, where he is an absolute force on the defensive end and pulling down boards. I don't look for much of a jumper out of him, but I look for a strong force down low that can really clean up and do the dirty work.

It is nice to see Diebler get some recognition and get up to #62.

I'd also like to see the 14 players better than Kosta. I know it is almost spliting hairs, but this kid has the biggest upside of any player in the class.

He is a matchup nightmare.

Lauderdale has struggled against players on his level. I think a summer on the AAU tournament would really progress his game. There has been whispers that Dallas is concerned about playing behind Oden for at least 1 and possibly 2 years. I have always looked at Lauderdale as a 4 year player, getting a chance to play behind a player like Oden for a time will only help Lauderdale down the road. He is more of an defensive player at this point, but thats not to say he has no offensive game, but he needs work on that end. His potential is unlimited if he keeps his head and works hard. Physically he has all the tools. I still believe before the end of summer he will be a Buckeye.

Koufos is a top 10 player in my opinion, with a huge summer and great senior season he could be just outside the top 5 before its all said and done. He is simply a rare player who has the size and skills to play inside or outside. Perfect fit for Matta's system.
