scientists perfect nanotechnology process with post-it notes

And of all ways to make it...they used post-it notes.

This crap can support 50,000 times its own weight and is 2,000 times thinner than a piece of paper. A square mile of it would weigh only 170 pounds!

Looks like the researchers are filing patents left and right. It can convert solar energy to electricity. When you run a current through it it generates light and heat (think tv's that you can roll up like a poster). Did I mention it's stronger than steel? They're even saying it's strong enough and light enough to support an elevator to space! My guess is if you got an idea, chances are it could probably do it...

Dude, Al Gore is gonna be pissed when he finds out they're stealing his invention.....
I thought that this guy invented the nano thing:

I went to an MIT conference held here that was about nanotechnology. Specifically, "Nanotechnology and the future force warrior" (i think that is what it was called)

The stuff that they showed and that they explained was unreal. Our fighting forces will be unstoppable.... almost machine like. Scary.

Probably some of the coolest stuff I have ever heard of.

Pretty soon they'll be able to use this kind of thing like paint... (See the rollup TV's technology) and they will be able to basically paint giant video screens on the sides of buildings, etc... so.. I suppose they could pain tyou and have the video be you're environment... close enough?

No, I want to be able to blend into the background completely.

I'd be the Ultimate backwoods Paintballer :)

I'm listening to the conference and you CAN use this stuff to bend light :). And it's 17 times stronger than Kevlar.
