or maybe 6 days (Georgia's wearing black for the Sugar Bowl)
The last time a LSU played a team wearing a shade of red this year looked like this:LSU_Ed;1016757; said:And the opponent had red/crimson, you saw a lot of this.
I really like the point I bolded. In the grand scheme of things I really don't care which color jersey the Buckeyes wear but there is just something about the Scarlet jersey that personifies Ohio State football.DaddyBigBucks;1016409; said:Point-Counterpoint
The team can earn redemption for last January by simply winning this game. Where that is concerned, the jerseys are laundry.
- I really don't give a rip about the "white was great until last year" thing. Maybe it's just me, but I see it as white having been both good and bad, and therefore proven to be irrelevant.
- I very nearly voted White because it would put LSU in the uniform that they wear so rarely. But that might not be a good thing.
- I went with Scarlet for one simple reason: To complete the cycle of redemption.
But the players already won their last game in white this year. They lost their last game in Scarlet. Just for my own personal memory bank, I want to see Kirk Barton and Dionte Johnson (and others if they should chose to go) as winners in their last appearance in Scarlet.
Go Bucks!
Not to mention the intimidation factorDryden;1016814; said:How about LSU is shirts and OSU is skins?
Anything which reduces holding Vernon Gholston is OK in my book.
