Scale of 1-100 How happy are you? With life & your marriage/gf?

Especially since I would like to go to Indiana for grad school and she wants me to stay here and go to Kent.
You told me she said she was cool with moving.

That's bullshit if she changed her mind on you.

What you need most is to move away from her family for a while so they don't try to keep control over her.

Life = 70

I should have just become a engineer.

GF = 90

Minus 10 points b/c she doesn't want to move out West (although she also hates Pittsburgh - who doesn't? - and would like living anywhere else)

I'm a pretty avid hiker, and she is always saying she'll go with me on my national park trips, but I'm a little skeptical. But, I'll give her the benefit of the doubt for now.

She gets bonus points for not being high maintenance, for being a big sports fan (for a girl anyway, we watched the ending for all the Regional final NCAA games), and she doesn't mind when I make fun of things (like the gomers in my apartment building).

Maybe you should move her out to Cleveland

Grad: What are you looking to do in graduate school?

Life: 90

going well, health is good (outsided the fact I'm a fatty :wink2: ), family is doing well and close by if we need them, the "kids" (my wife seems to think she gave birth to the two little critters... they are cats, not people!!!) are driving me crazy, faith is strong, am involved in many activities in the community (makes you feel good at the end of the day... funny how it works that way), etc.

Wife: 90

Good all around except the fiestiness gets old every now and then... hot tempered red head, what do you expect...

Right now life is a 99, well because i'm a university student enjoying the many activities offereded, but in the morning when i have a hangover and have to do all my homework that rating will drop a lot. In terms of relationships i couldn't ask for more from my girlfriend, she is great and honestly i don't deserve her. Right now i'm enjoying university life and like my program but i haven't reached my career goals and haven't reached my potential at the personal level, but i can't complain because i'm enjoying life.

Wife - 98
This year we hit our 15th anniversary (known each other for 20 years) and I can honestly say that she is the best thing to happen to me. Without her, there is no way I would be where I am today professionally and personally.

Life - 95
Family is a big deal to me, so with a great wife and 2 wonderful, healthy boys, it doesn't get much better. Having a great job, while it is difficult for me to call it a "job" since I thoroughly enjoy what I do, also adds to the life satisfaction. Also, coaching baseball as well as football and being involved with youth in a positive way is quite rewarding.

All in all, life is good and much of that has to do with having a great spouse and family.
