It appears there's were a number of racial insults hurled out when the doctorb was mentioned (references to camels seem to be the favorite). Is this kind of racial attack/joking common on the board? I'm only asking b/c I'm a huge Buckeye fan, but as a minority I'm pretty concerned I might be in a forum that not only tolerates this kind of bashing but also encourages it. wow. if i was walking down the street and this post was in front of me, i would have tripped on it. thats how transparent tibor is now i guess.

edit: and no i'm not calling this guy tibor.

Well, thanks to the folks who were kind enough to honestly reply and to those who would prefer to believe in some sort of transparent conspiracy...well, that's fine as well (it may be stupid and incorrect, but that's still okay). Either way, feel free to stop by the VC to have a beer with the doctorb and myself.

From the looks of the rest of the board, it looks like the race comments are the work of a few dumb people, so if I offended any with my question about racial jokes I apologize. I think I can deal with a few racist idiots knowing everyone else is cool (you get used to that in Cincy). Again, thanks for the warm welcome and Go Bucks!

Uh, thanks for using my real name (if that's the norm here I apologize for being abrupt...I've never been on boards where members use their real names). And the answer is yes. I think the doctorb would admit that I get pretty stupid with a few beers in me. I think you'll find that I have no problem poking fun at myself (a quality I think few people have nowadays).

Eh, personally I don't like it nor use it; however, I'm well aware that there are other terms describing people with alternative lifestyles that are used quite a bit and are far, far worse. I have a few buddies here in Cincy who use that all of the time, so no big deal. I figure if that's the worst, then it can't be that bad.

Can I answer this one? You linked a thread showing how tibor was ripping MililaniBuckeye (I assume that\'s the same person) for saying he was attending a game and then backing out.

So, I can only assume, that if Mililanibuckeye announced he was going to the VC before a game, Tibor would appear to be incredulous about the news and make some smart alleck quip about Mililani going this year to the 4 Seasons or something like that.
