My swing feels like an unfolding lawn chair.
I used to work at best buy and XM radio gave their portable Myfi (made by delphi) to any employee who wanted one. I pay $9/mo. XM has MLB but no NFL. they also have a contract with the big ten so tOSU is on XM. I am not sure about Sirius. XM also has PGA tour radio which is only cool if you are stuck on the road for awhile, because it is quite boring to listen to. As far as the music goes the selection is awesome and there are no commercials which is great. My guess would be only 40-45 minutes per hour are music on tradidtional radio. Not all models of players are portable. The Myfi is. I have seen a commercial for a portable Sirius player also. However, the reception is not great when the unit is not plugged in to its signal booster. It is like putting a dish network satellite dish in an ipod so unless you have an unobstructed view of the SW sky it sucks. This is still first generation tech. so I assume it will get better with newer models. I can hook it up to my receiver, my car or carry it by itself as if it were an ipod. I can also record 5 hours of music so if I am in the subway i just switch to what I've recorded (no signal down there). My guess is that either XM or Sirius are better than traditional. Hope that helps.
