Uhh, those same malls exist about 35 miles from where I live here in Ohio.

By "north of the border" I was referring to similar outlet malls in the US.

Agree, TJ really isn't that much fun nor are there really any "deals" in that part of Mexico. Almost everything is about the same price as it is here, and to top that off you are still in a third-world country so walking around like a total tourist can be dangerous.
