Yep. In my grainy photo, the ball is up in a carry position, and as soon as that arm swings down he drops the ball. He’s clearly in the endzone before releasing the ball. It was a little closer than I remembered though.

Yep. In my grainy photo, the ball is up in a carry position, and as soon as that arm swings down he drops the ball. He’s clearly in the endzone before releasing the ball. It was a little closer than I remembered though.
I agree that this is not important. It's over.
Nevertheless, I wanted to at least settle what happened in my own mind, so I rewatched, not from the grainy YouTube video, but from my YouTubeTV account in High Def. The screen cap that it produces is not much better, but playing back at 1/4 speed at Hi Def, I was able to pause it at the exact moment that you see him release the ball. Two points: 1) you absolutely, positively, never see the ball at the 1/2 yard line in Hi Def; 2) it really looks like he Malcolmed this thing to me.

I agree 100% with that. It does not, however, matter to us. There is nothing we can do about it and arguing about it is about as productive as the green vs black discussion.
