S Orhian Johnson (official thread)

You have to think its either OSU or USF for him...

Why no excitement here? I'm a little confused where the scholarship is coming from but hey, he's an athelete and you can't have too many of those.

This has been a hard one to follow, there is talk that there is for sure an offer and that we went down to visit him, but then there is no talk about him really being an option...

I think the indication is that Harris isn't coming. Although I don't see how Johnson and Harris have much to do with each other except for sheer scholarship numbers.

I'm not sure what the chances are of either coming - however, there seems to be room for one more "speed" recruit, which I'm assuming both Harris and Johnson are. I don't know what you mean by "have much to do with each other."

Honestly, I might being stretching it, but I I have a feeling that the staff might be asking him to wait to the last second for his offer...like we aren't sure we will have enough spots until we know about other people....cough cough...Harris.....I know I doubt that type of situation occurs, but I do remember Buster Davis

I would not be surprised to see a commitment from Orhian come signing day.

EDIT: My conspiracy theory has a giant hole...Orhian is announcing at 11:30am and Harris at 1:05pm

Oh well...we will see what happens

There was talk of wanting another WR recruit after Cordale Scott picked Illinois, maybe that's Orhian... I know staff has maintained ATH (which they did to some extent with Scott as well) with Orhian, but his size/speed #'s could just as easily translate to WR... Just a thought...
