S Orhian Johnson (official thread)

that's great video of him. I can see why Indiana and USF were recruiting him as a QB. He does look an awful lot like Kellen Lewis at Indiana. If things don't work out with Terrelle I could see him be given a chance. Again, his QB video was very impressive.

Yea I still think he will be a great safety. With that 40+ verticle i couldn't see many balls getting behind him

Ya, I agree he mostly likely ends up at safety, but for a guy listed at ATH, his QB video was great. That video was a lot better than some of the higher rated QB's I've seen this year.....he looked like a Kellen Lewis clone, IMO.

I wasn't following him too closely, was this a suprise late addition or had we been after him for awhile? Any way the kid looks like he can play! Welcome to the Bucks.

I think most of "those in the know" thought that he would be a buckeye if he wanted to give up being a qb at the next level. USF and IU were recruiting him as a QB. That was the question headed into yesterday.

Agreed! I think that he is one gonna be a solid guy in the secondary for us!

I think it is great how he went from Flava Flav to a Buckeye after reading through his thread. A great story and I know this young man will win over Buckeye Nation in a few years. I think he is one of those 3 stars that shine brighter, as you can see with a bunch of standout Buckeyes.

Welcome to the Buckeyes!

Johnson Ready To Be Fulltime Defender................Johnson is looking forward to learning to play in the defensive backfield and is not worried about competition.

Now here's another smart kid in the incoming class. I think the OSU staff has done a great job recruiting him and will mould this kid into someone who will end up playing on Sunday! I don't think that this would've been possible playing QB.

im excited to see this guy play in the secondary, has some good size for a safety, hoping he can be another Nate Salley (but probably not going to be the same hitter) i think he's going to be a good one and great to see he was willing to give up QB and come to OSU to play on our great defense
