While I hope my team gets off to a strong start this year Southern Miss is not to be overlooked. They went 12-2 last year, won Conference USA, and actually finished ranked higher than we did. Fortunately their coach left after last season, so I think having a new QB make his first career start under a brand system on the road in Lincoln bodes well for us.
