Malik and Quincy Wilson will turn Indy's secondary from sieve to lockdown pretty quick. Great place for him to land.
So rare for a team to draft need and have the right guys fall into their lap. Colts won't have the 30th ranked pass defense any more.

I remember when I took Tressel's coaching class he had a Colts scouting rep do one of our last lectures on what they look for in a player...Malik really fits their bill off and on the field.

It's crazy to think about Malik going from the distant, discouraged backup who wanted to quit football, to a guy who gets what this opportunity is about it on every level. Success can bring out the best in people or the worst in people - In Malik's case, so far, he seems to be handling it as well as anybody.

Looks like you can't keep Malik Hooker sidelined for long.
Indianapolis Colts removed their first-round pick from the physically unable to perform list on Saturday, moving him back to the active roster. The news comes just four days after the Colts placed him on the PUP list due to a tweaked hamstring.
