S Lathan Ransom (Official Thread)

Still think he has been OSUs best player so far this year. Almost saved a TD this week with that fumble he caused. Just seems to be everywhere.
Absolutely! I heard someone trying to call him out today but that is ignorant. Kids is honestly becoming one of the best Safeties we've ever had. That's not hyperbole I mean that but I'd love to see some stats. Hint hint @DaddyBigBucks

Stats?

Mike Sensibaugh 1969 - 9 interceptions (in a 9 game season)
No one has ever topped that number, no matter how many games they played

Lathan Ransom, your mission, if you choose to accept it...

He really is one of the best we've had if you take into account everything, and some of it may not even show up on the stat sheet in a "made the play but not the tackle" kind of way. We are fluffin lucky to have him back. I saw something special in him on film back when he was a recruit and I am thrilled to see it come to life over a full career here.

Key players seem to be dropping like flies, but the depth should be there at most spots. Hopefully Lathan heals up quickly and can finish off what was the start to an excellent final campaign.

We had a helluva healthy run while it lasted - just hope he's back for Indiana (never thought I'd say that). Not sure Nebraska, Penn State, Purdue, or NW have an offensive threat enough to make his absence cost us. I am already puking in my mouth a bit at the thought of not rotating our DL enough for the PSU game though :sick1:
