Said Jaylen McClain is a "dog."
Said he knew as soon as Jay Timmons stepped on campus, he would be able to contribute. He said Timmons came in with a different mentality than he’s ever seen from a freshman.
Little believes everything has gone as it's expected since transferring to Ohio State.
On celebrating Senior Day before Saturday’s season opener: "I'm just ready to play ball."
On Brandon Inniss: "He's gonna be there for you at every moment."
On having new coaches: "Definitely gained a tremendous amount of knowledge," and said the staff is a large reason why he came to Ohio State.
Said the secondary has "great chemistry."
Said Ball State quarterback Keldric Luster can make plays with his feet, and the defense needs to be on its "Ps and Qs."
Asked if there’s a player he’s excited to see in game action on Saturday based on what he did in camp, Little responded without hesitation: “Definitely Jay Timmons.” He's waiting for Timmons to explode this year, and he highlighted his "pro-style mindset at a young age."
Little shouted out McClain for his leadership and bringing him along when he got to Columbus.
Having played at Alabama and Florida State, Little said he thinks the brotherhood at Ohio State is different from other schools. He said everyone at Ohio State is working together toward the same goals.
Little hopes fans see a team player and somebody who will make plays, put his best foot forward and have fun when they watch him play.
