S. Carolina 7 at NC ST 3 (Final)

Just read today on CFN that Steve Spurrier has won every opener at South Carolina - including against NC State last year, 34-0. South Carolina is usually in on one of these Thursday night openers against another BCS conference opponent, so it's not as if that streak has come at the expense of some anonymous A&Ms. I'll take Spurrier, the points and the under in this one, then probably bet against this otherwise perennially underwhelming team most of the rest of the year.

Keep in mind that the 34-0 game last year was because NC State's QB got knocked out early in that game. SC lost a bunch of "talent" and NC State kept theirs and got better last year...at least that's what I told myself when I bet those vbucks...

wow, Lou Holtz won the game picks battle last year...those other guys must have a tough time looking in the mirror in the morning and then getting in front of a camera.
