In a top ten matchup that absolutely nobody watched, Hogs play sloppy and still put a pretty good beatdown on the Cocks.
Hog DE Jake Bequette is finally healthy from a hamstring and is credited with three sacks - the last of which he absolutely planted Cock QB Conner Shaw resulting in a fumble that went in for a TD a couple of plays later.
Two dropped wide open passes that were sure TDs, two missed FGs, one INT (immediately after one of the dropped TDs) returned for a TD and two drives for the Cocks that were kept alive by Hog penalties.
This easily could have been a 60 point beatdown. Game was tight a couple of times in the first half, but never really in doubt. Hog defense came to play and held the Cocks to less than 50 yards offense in the first half.
It was good to be home in Fayetteville after playing 4 of the last 5 on the road.
We get Tennessee at home next week, and that's going to be ugly.
