Reading the same things. Also being reported Robinson is staying at Georgia and Williams is waiting to see what his are going to be made.

Robinson left Bama to go coach at Georgia.... Downs visited Georgia a number of times during his recruitment but yet they weren't in the final two....it would still be a long shot but still hopefully the back channels are working OT

That was my reading on things earlier. There’s a reason Downs didn’t commit to Georgia in the first place, and also had the immediate opportunity to hit the portal and head to Athens days ago but didn’t. To me, it’s a good feeling for us. I don’t see who they would get that would take him from deciding to leave to happily staying another 2 years.

What did Urban always say? It's about relationships... have to think Georgia is in the drivers seat now, and we're the darkhorse.

Is it anymore though? Maybe in this case, but I think in the 2024 class we saw that it can be as much about the bag.

Think about it like this .... if everything else is the same then it's relationships... still I would say ... but everything being the same is relative

My guess is there's a threshold where money stops mattering.
That threshold is different for everyone, but for most it's more of a "this tall to ride" qualification rather than a bonus.
And for those who it's the only factor, they end up hanging out with the milkmen at ATM.
