Rutgers has reportedly expressed interest in Ohio State's Ed Warinner

Per Cleveland.com, another Ohio State assistant is getting some sniffs as a possible head coach.
Earlier this week, it was reported that Ohio State defensive coordinator Chris Ash was a candidate for Syracuse, and is currently getting some interest at Rutgers. But Ash isn't the only Ohio State assistant coach that is getting some buzz for current head coaching openings.
According to Cleveland.com's Ari Wasserman, Ohio State offensive coordinator Ed Warinner is also attracting interest from Rutgers.
While Ohio State's offense struggled at times this season as the the team replaced offensive coordinator Tom Herman, Warinner's reputation as a excellent developer of offensive linemen remains unchanged. Even in the face of quarterback changes, significant injuries to wide receivers, and a fluid offensive identity, Ohio State was still able to run the ball very well. Ezekiel Elliott rushed for over 1,600 yards on the season, and won the Big Ten offensive player of the year award.
Prior to arriving at Ohio State, Warinner coached at Army from 1987-1999 in a variety of capacities, including offensive coordinator, and has recruited the New Jersey area both prior to and while at Ohio State. Last season, he interviewed for the head coaching position at Kansas, where he had also previously coached and served as offensive coordinator.
