They absolutely had a gameplan. It didn't work. So yes, I believe a lot of thought went into that. I see it in my field quite a bit - sometimes even the smartest people around can think themselves into a box. Given the pressure of the situation and all the nonsense being said, I do believe this is a vast majority of the problem, especially when it came to adjustments and getting away from what just wasn't working.
Who cares? It literally does not matter a damn bit today or any time in the near future.

I was referring to the RPO that Gabriel kept if for the first down. Sonny ran down the line at the RB instead of forcing Gabriel to give it. There was no one left outside. The inside guy is NEVER his read.
