Rivals Preseason Power Rankings

Yes I meant to say offenses. I failed to include ND, but they are also quite one-dimensional (Walker requires misdirection playcalls). Also, early in the season they had protection issues, which GT exploited often the game beforehand.

I think English belongs in the 'possibly good' category. The early schedule overinflated his rating, and the last two games probably had the opposite effect. I need to see more before hailing him as a very good DC.

Beanie @ #1

Animal @ #1

Jenkins should be #1...

so thats (3) #1 positions head by tOSU.

edit: Almost forgot, Tressel @ #2. Even though USC has "back to back" national titles.

Aside from that, very nice showing. Freeman, Robo, Boone, Heacock & Bollman for coaches.

Pete Caroll > Touchdown Jesus. Sorry, no coach will ever compare, he's just 50 pounds of awesome in a 5 pound box. Runs a clean program too, never any speculation of things going on at USC.

D'oh, forgot the sarcasm font

There's only 8 kickers listed on that list. I think the fact that it's not a sure thing which kicker is going to start probably kept either one off that list.

I should have made a better choice of words. By "kickers" I meant "anyone who strikes the ball with their foot whenever they're in the game". This includes punters; so there were 14 on the list.

I'd bet if anyone listed our kickers/punter as a unit, we'd have to be in the top 3.
