he is also prob one of the few wrestlers that didn't die from roids or drugs
Only 58? Hell, I can't believe he was that old. How old is Hogan now? Cripes...Bucklion;1924991; said:Just saw this, how sad. He was only 58.
Wrestling was so much fun in the 80's. I was only 11 when that happened. I remember haiting Savage because "The Dragon" was my favorite wrestler. I actually found a Ricky "the Dragon" Steamboat headband that I got at old Richfield Coliseum during a WWF event back in '86 in my basement last year.Dryden;1925042; said:I can remember Wrestlemania III like it was yesterday. Randy Savage v. Ricky The Dragon Steamboat.
Hogan and Andre the Giant made wrestling big time, but it was those undercard fights for the Intercontinental Title that took the events to '11' in wrestlings late 80s heyday. Savage & Steamboat (along with Jake The Snake and Honky Tonk Man) never disappointed.
Miss Elizabeth is up there waitin' for ya, big guy.
