Gentlemen, In light of recent developments within your football program I have decided that it is in the best interests of Yale University to end our sub-leasing agreement with Oklahoma University for the right to use Boola Boola. Henceforth we respectfully request that the use of this music as a song connected to the Oklahoma University Athletic Department and its programs cease and desist.

Use of said music by groups representing Oklahoma University, its students and alumni; drunken fools and "businessmen" loosely associated with the school and wandering around the Texas State Fairgrounds and various other locations visited by the Oklahoma University athletic teams must stop immediately.

While we have enjoyed our association in the past, we feel that it would be of benefit of both institutions if you were to write your own school song.

Finally, I share with you the words of wisdom of that other Yale University musical institution, the Whiffenpoofs,

Gentlemen car dealers off on a spree,
doomed our sweet university,
God have pity on such as thee.
Bah, bah, bah.<O:p

Sincerely,

PS, Our chief legal advisor tells me he has been contacted by representatives of the estates of Mssrs. Richard Rogers and Oscar Hammerstein. It appears they may wish you to stop using the song Oklahoma! as well.
