Rich Rodriguez (official thread of last laughs)

I just question why 2 full seasons after he's gone, he's still talking about Michigan. Bitter is a tough pill to swallow, I guess.

Probably because after 2 seasons, he's still being ASKED about it.

Try reading the original article instead of some homer fish wrap in Ann Arbor.

Rich Rod is in a Good Place...

Rich Rodriguez says he?s happy, and really, it?s time to forget about the other stuff.

You know, the stuff that nearly buried him professionally not so long ago.

So I had to remind Rodriguez of the day we spoke after his first season at Michigan four years ago looked like it took 10 years from his life.

?I obviously wasn?t in a good place,? Rodriguez says, and I can?t tell if he?s laughing at himself or laughing at the absurdity of the situation.

Three years of hell at Michigan. Three years of not being a Michigan Man, of changing the old familiar with the new unconventional, of completely turning over a roster to start from scratch.

All the things those in charge at Michigan knew the day they hired him.

All things they eventually used against him.

?All of a sudden, I had forgotten how to coach,? Rodriguez said.

was there a gun to his head forcing him to answer?

Very true. In this case he gave 'his' honest answer. Can't blame him for that.

That said - the Jim Tressel Senatorial approach would be something like " We had some struggles, some injuries and some things not pan out, I wish the best for the players, coaches and the university".

However he's still Dick Rod... and nobody expects an answer like that from a redneck wannabe "Michigan Man".

how would he read it in some homer fish wrap in Ann Arbor (is a whore) when he's in Hilliard, Ohio?

Why are tsun fans still blaming him for 8-5? Can't have it both ways Mike.

Yeah, he's stuck in God forsaken Tucson, and they're stuck with a wheezing, sweating, hog of a coach emptying out all the rib and wing joints in town. They both have reason to complain.

because a lot of them just like to b1tch. Granted, RR basically didn't recruit offensive linemen, it appeared, but to go from 11-2 to 8-5 isn't all on RR. I put a lot of it on Borgess, to be honest.

What about your head coach who just stands around like a big, sweaty blimp all game long instead of, you know, putting a boot up his coordinator's asses when they go full retard?

We all know that Fishigan takes these kind of pills. Especially Hairlice:
