Rich Rodriguez (official thread of last laughs)

Back to RichRod:

The Daily Athenaeum

Outgoing West Virginia University President Michael S. Garrison said
he believed the contract former WVU head football coach Rich Rodriguez
signed on Aug. 24, 2007 was fair, despite the $4 million buyout clause.

Garrison's 10-hour long deposition, which was taken on June 12, was
released on Monday by WVU attorneys.

Garrison said in the deposition he couldn't remember the first time he
had conversations with Rodriguez himself, but he did remember his first
talks with Mike Brown, Rodriguez's agent.

"Mr. Brown was very direct about his involvement with Coach Rodriguez,
as related to the Alabama head coaching job. And said to me specifically
that he pushed Mr. Rodriguez towards that job, that he wanted him to
take that job, that he would continue to push Mr. Rodriguez toward other
jobs, did not believe that West Virginia University was up to keeping, what
he called - and I was surprised when he said this - "Product Rodriguez," and
that there were other jobs," Garrison said.

"He wanted me to be aware that he would continue to, as he put it, "shop"
the product on the market."

"Product Rodriguez". :slappy: What a colossal douche bag. I can't believe y'all haven't pursued a photoshop of "Product Rodriguez" yet.

No ego there.

Sounds like a pimp marketing his ho.

Sounds like a pimp marketing his ho.

It is one thing to berate a coaches conduct, but IMO it crosses a line when you refer to him as a common "ho".

Rich Rodriquez is a high priced call girl.

(I will obey our unwritten policy and make no mention of Rita.)
