Looking to spend a day in Austin. Hence the bump. Any advice on what to see/do/eat. Thanks!

The Salt Lick is a little ways outside of town, but well worth the drive. Awesome bar-b-que - brisket, ribs, and sausage - be hungry when you arrive.

hehe yeah its BOYB (they sell wine there but its overpriced) and bring cash (its a cash only join), they have an ATM on site.. but to avoid the fees.. and don't [censored] around with the sheriff's who are your parking attendants.

also .. you can find good bbq (doesn't have the Salt Lick atmosphere) at Stubbs, Rudy's, or County Line... also... go only to the Saltlick in Driftwood.. they cook everything there and ship it out to the other locations in Austin.
