He was a regular poster on the on the recruiting board, which is where I became acquainted with him We
became friends on Facebook and I had spoken to him via phone on a couple of occasions. I got the news this evening of his demise. Please include his family in your prayers:

Wow, he was young. I thought "80" was his graduation year rather than his birth. That's awful. :sad:

Here is a kid who grew up in Chennai, India and realized a dream to attend Ohio State. He then went on to do great things in the world. His obituary mentions what? That he was a great fan of Ohio State.

If I recall, he was a bit problematic when he first arrived and got a few warnings. Except for those who knew him, how many of us would have thought of him as a great scientist working on important biomedical problems like autism and modeling "big data"?

Makes you wonder about the incredible diversity hidden behind the avatars and signatures on this board, the incredible challenges that some people here have overcome just to be part of Ohio State, and the things folks are doing when they are not posting here, no?
