OSU reruns make fine holiday viewing

The lady who most likes to turn off the television when I'm dozing (and listening through osmosis) in the easy chair is going to love this.
Fox Sports Net Ohio is going to re-broadcast 12 Ohio State football games beginning Dec. 23 through Jan. 7, the eve of this season's national championship game, featuring the Buckeyes and Florida Gators.

I agree that this is an AWESOME idea, but that's kind of a strange choice in games. The 2002 NW game? The 2000 Illinois game? The 1999 Minnesota game? Why? I guess each one was an exciting game, but I don't put any of those in the top choices.

How about the 89 Minnesota game? Or the 2002 Michigan game? Or the obvious choice of the 2002 Miami game?

I know, I shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth (one of the strangest sayings ever), but I would have beefed up that line-up if I was in charge over at Fox Sports. Maybe they had a limited selection that they could get rights to. Whatever, I'll still be watching.
